Tim Brown

Tim Brown, born on July 22, 1966, in Dallas, Texas, is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished wide receivers in NFL history. Brown played college football at Notre Dame, where he quickly became one of the most dynamic players in the country. During his time at Notre Dame, he won the prestigious 1987 Heisman Trophy, recognizing him as the best player in college football that year. Brown’s college career was marked by his exceptional skills as both a receiver and return specialist, setting numerous records and establishing himself as a future NFL star. After a standout career at Notre Dame, he was selected by the Los Angeles/ Oakland Raiders as the 6th overall pick in the 1988 NFL Draft.

Brown’s NFL career spanned 17 seasons, primarily with the Oakland Raiders, where he became the face of the franchise. Over his illustrious career, Brown established himself as one of the most consistent and versatile wide receivers in the league. He was selected to nine Pro Bowls and earned four First-Team All-Pro honors. Known for his precise route running, incredible hands, and ability to make plays in clutch moments, Brown finished his career with 1,094 receptions for 14,934 yards and 100 touchdowns. He retired as one of the NFL’s all-time greats, holding several franchise records for the Raiders. His leadership on and off the field made him a beloved figure in Oakland and across the NFL.
