Earnest Crownover III

Earnest Crownover is a name that will forever be linked to hard-hitting football at Grandview High School. A two-time All-State Running Back in 2016 and 2017, Earnest was an unstoppable force on the field. Moved to Varsity as a sophomore, he made an immediate impact as both a physical running back and outside linebacker.

One of the most bruising running backs Grandview has ever seen, Earnest’s play was a testament to his relentless determination and passion for the game. He helped lead the Zebras on deep playoff runs year after year, with his senior season culminating in a State Quarter Finals appearance.

His standout high school career earned him a full scholarship to the United States Military Academy at West Point, Earnest later chose to bet on himself and transferred to Kilgore Community College. It was there that his hard work and dedication paid off, earning him a full-ride scholarship to Texas A&M University, where he went on to become the starting fullback for three seasons.

Earnest’s journey from Grandview to West Point, then Kilgore, and ultimately Texas A&M is a story of resilience, perseverance, and self-belief. His legacy at Grandview and beyond is one of leadership, toughness, and an unwavering commitment to always strive for more.
